Muscat: Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) participated in the coordination meetings held in Konya, Turkey. It will host the 5th Islamic Solidarity Sports Games, from August 9-18 this year.
OOC was represented in the meetings by Hisham bin Salem Al-Adwani, Chef de Mission, and Hana bint Saeed Al-Batashiya, head of the coordination and following-up department and the responsible for the procedures for registering Oman sports missions in foreign sports tournaments.
The delegations toured the sites of the competitions and the Olympic Village, the sports facilities and the coordination meetings were attended by the delegation managers from all the countries that will participate in the competition to clarify many important points and the sequence procedures to be done before the start, the system, the mechanism for registering sports delegations and other topics.
