Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met with the sheikhs of the governorates of North Al Batinah, Al Dhahirah and Al Buriami, at Bait Bahjat Al Andhar in the Wilayat of Sohar, on Wednesday morning.
His Majesty the Sultan on Wednesday gave Royal directives to implement more development projects on top of the projects approved by the Tenth Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), at a cost exceeding RO 650 million to be executed during the remainder of the current five-year plan.
His Majesty gave Royal directives to increase financial allocations earmarked to the development budget for this year by RO 200 million bringing the total development allocations to RO 1.1 billion.
The Royal directives come within the framework of the attention accorded by His Majesty to providing services, complimenting infrastructure, underpinning the private sector and providing more job opportunities to the nationals.
