Muscat: Muscat Municipality will launch a pesticides spraying campaign to kill mosquitoes.
The municipality said: “Tomorrow, Sunday, March 27, 2022, an intensive joint campaign will be launched between Muscat Municipality and the Ministry of Health to combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito, focusing on the areas Al Ghubra, Al Ansab, Al Hail.”
The municipality added that the programme will be from 6 to 11am. Residents are requested to cooperate.
Aedes aegypti, the yellow fever mosquito, can spread dengue fever among other diseases.
