Muscat: Wednesday’s decision by the Supreme Committee to continue the ban on establishment of collective charitable breakfast tables (fasting breakfast) in mosques and other public places such as tents has one exclusion.
It excludes restaurants or workplaces for employees. A government official confirmed to Times of Oman, in response to the decisions of the Supreme Committee regarding the continued ban on setting up charitable collective breakfast tables (fasting breakfast) in mosques and other public places such as tents and public Majlis, that the ban excludes restaurants or workplaces for employees and these will be permitted with preventive measures, like wearing face masks and practising social distancing indoors.
