People gather at a park in the north of Iran’s capital Tehran on Saturday to celebrate “Sizdah Bedar” (Nature Day), on the 13th day after the Nowruz Persian new year, during which people picnic outdoors with family and friends. Nowruz marks the new year according to the Persian solar calendar. This year, Sizdah Bedar also coincides with the last day before the start of Ramadhan in Iran. — AFP
