UAE withdraws ‘Kinder Surprise’ from market after several reports of salmonella infection
Muscat: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to withdraw and retrieve the children’s product Kinder Surprise based on the technical information received regarding the registration of salmonella infections in several European countries.
The Emirates News Agency WAM said: “The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment issues a decision to withdraw Kinder Surprise UFO Maxi 100 gm chocolate from the country’s markets, based on the technical information received regarding the registration of salmonella infections in several European countries that were linked to the consumption of chocolate products for the brand ‘Kinder’.”
