Muscat: The National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA) has issued the English version of the book titled “The System of Government Transition: Modern and Renewable Renaissance of Oman (An Analytical Study)”.

The issue comes as part of the 26th volume of the Research and Survey in National and International Archives series.

The book is 614 pages long and includes 16 chapters divided into two main themes. The first theme is on the organization of mechanisms for the transfer of power throughout history.

The second theme highlights the organization of the state’s administration and its structure, the establishment of a methodology of operation, as well as documents that support research from the NRAA archives.

The book sheds light on mechanism for the transfer of power in the Sultanate of Oman. It also touches on the Basic Law of the State of 2021, ways of modernizing legal legislation and organizing the State’s Administrative Apparatus, restructuring the government, the decision-making process, power transfer stability regulations and mandates for the Crown Prince in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as the legal organization of the Council of Oman and the Shura Council for 2021.

The book also spotlights Oman Vision 2040 and its economic and social outcomes, which covers citizenship and the rights of women and children.

This publication comes within the framework of the NRAA’s vision in preserving the ancient Omani history and in line with its strategic objectives of encouraging scientific research in various fields of civilization.

The book caps an analytical study which is supported by scientific evidence, as well as various local and international media resources in multiple forms, particularly newspapers and journals.

The NRAA highlights the upcoming accomplishments by documenting them so they live on in the memory of current and future generations coupled with optimism for a bright future.
