Nizwa: Two college students died at their accommodation in the Wilayat of Nizwa on Tuesday evening, Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.
The police initial investigation indicates that they were messing with an object that seemed like an old projectile they came across in a mountainous area before it exploded.
ROP cautioned against messing with unknown objects calling on the public to report any such objects to the nearest police station or call the Police Operations Centre.
