Muscat: An attempt to smuggle more than 54,000 tablets of different types of psychotropic substances and 25kg of hashish meths foiled, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Thursday.
In a tweet, ROP said that the Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation in Musandam Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with Coast Guard Police, foiled an attempt to muggle more than 54,000 tablets of different types of psychotropic substances and 25kg of hashish meths to the Sultanate of Oman by sea.
