Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrated today the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries.
A joint statement said that over the past three decades both countries have contributed to the development of bilateral relations in several different fields based on the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-interference in internal affairs.
The statement stated that the mutual visits, bilateral political consultations, and the formation of parliamentary friendship committees contributed to the development and strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the two friendly peoples, which helped to advance the course of bilateral relations, and the joint coordination to strengthening support on many UN positions.
The two countries reiterated their will to develop cooperation between them in all fields.
The statement stressed that the two friendly countries have laid the foundations for promoting fruitful cooperation in many political fields in regional and international issues.
