MUSCAT: Oman, represented by the Environment Authority (EA) will celebrate the World Environment Day 2022 on Sunday.
The day is marked to initiate changes in the policies and choices to enable living in harmony with the nature in a more environment–friendly manner and sustainability.
The theme of the World Environment Day 2022 reflects the three crises of the earth, which are the climate change, the loss of biodiversity and the risks of pollution and waste.
Only One Earth, was the motto for the 1972 Stockholm Conference which has seen the initiation of the UN Environment Programme.
