Muscat: A number of areas in the Sultanate of Oman have recorded high temperatures today, exceeding 45 degrees.
The Directorate General of Meteorology said: “The meteorological stations of the Civil Aviation Authority recorded temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius (Rustaq 47 – Nakhl, Al-Awabi, Qalhat and Sumail 46), noting that the measured temperature is of the air in the shade.
The sensation of heat may increase when exposed to direct sunlight, it is recommended to follow the instructions to avoid heat stroke.
