Muscat: At a cost of OMR 7 million, Sohar Port Freezone will establish a steel rod manufacturing unit.
“Adding to Sohar Freezone’s flourishing metals cluster, we’ve signed an agreement with Sohar Steel Rolling to lease 40,000 sqm of land for a steel rod manufacturing unit. The OMR 7 million investment is poised to meet the huge demand for stainless steel manufacturing in Oman,” Sohar Port Freezone said in a statement
