Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday issued two Royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal decree No (49/2022) on approving the organizational structure for the Royal Court Affairs and the powers of the Secretary General.
Article (1) approves the organizational structure of the Royal Court Affairs as per the annex attached to this decree.
Article (2) states that the Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs shall assume the powers assigned for the minister in the Law Concerning the Financial System Of The Diwan Of Royal Court promulgated by Royal decree No (128/1991), the Law on Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for Omani Employees of the Diwan of Royal Court promulgated by Royal decree No (86/1996), the Law Concerning The Employee System Of The Diwan Of Royal Court promulgated by Royal decree No (97/1997), and any other laws related to the administrative divisions of the Royal Court Affairs.
Article (3) cancels Royal decree No (44/2004) and Royal decree No (27/2012) and all that contradicts this decree or contravenes its provisions.
Article (4) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
Royal decree No 50/2022) on conducting appointments at the Royal Court Affairs.
Article (1) appoints Shaikh Said bin Hilal bin Ali al Khalili as Head of the Human and Financial Resources and Support Affairs, along with his current grade and financial allocations.
Article (2) appoints Eng Hilal bin Mohammed bin Humaid al Waeli as Head of the Royal Horses, Camels, Farms and Gardens Affairs, with the special grade.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
