Muscat: Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority personnel were able to manage a fire that broke out in a group of wild trees in the Wilayat of Ibri.
“Firefighting teams in Al-Dhahirah Governorate managed to control a fire that broke out in a group of wild trees in Jabal Al-Sara in the Wilayat of Ibri, without registering any injuries,” CDAA said.
The authority urges people not to set fires for cooking near trees, and to dispose of cigarette butts in a safe place in order to preserve the natural vegetation cover.
