Sur: The Department of SMEs Development in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate organised an orientation forum on the common system for registration of supplies for owners of SMEs, on Tuesday.
The forum was organised at Sur branch of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI). The forum targets entrepreneurs in the Governorate.
The forum provides business opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and familiarises the participants with the benefits of registration in the common system for registration of suppliers and the opportunities on competition on the contracts and works the system offers for companies.
Abdullah Ali Al Mukhaini, Director of the Department of SMEs Development in South al Sharqiyah Governorate delivered a presentation of the support services offered by SMEs Development Authority.
The forum reviewed a number of issues on in-country value and the opportunities available for SMEs and the common registration system.
