Muscat: The implementation of a major electrical transformer station project in the light industries area in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm has been completed, with a capacity of 60 MVA, at a cost of OMR 2.6 million.
Engineer Saeed bin Ahmed Bani Arraba, who is in charge of the Department of Electricity and Water Regulation in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, told the Oman News Agency that the electricity distribution station is equipped with the latest electrical equipment in accordance with the Omani standard specifications and will feed a number of existing and under-construction projects.
