Muscat: North Al Batinah Governorate’s campaign to administer students aged 12 years and above with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine has concluded, the governorate’s Directorate General of Health Services said.

“School students aged 12 to 17 years have received jabs as part of the campaign,” the Directorate General added in a statement.

Those in the age range who were not able to take the first dose are required to get vaccinated at approved immunisation centres.

The centres operate from Sunday to Thursday, between 8 am to 2 pm, and students eligible for their first jabs may walk in and get them, the statement added.
