MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology issued through the national platform for land transport services ‘Naql, as many as 13.944 land transport vehicle operating cards and 139 exceptional cargo transport permits during the first half of this year.
The ministry also approved 413 licenses for land transport activities through the “Invest Easy” portal.
The ‘Naql platform enables beneficiaries to obtain and renew transport vehicles registration cards, taxi licenses and exceptional cargo permits. The platform is linked with the vehicle registration systems of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and the “Invest Easy” portal to verify vehicles details and their licensed activities (for individuals or institutions). — ONA
