Washington: An official session of talks was held at the headquarters of the US State Department between the Sultanate and the US on Thursday.
The Sultanate’s side was chaired by Shaikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, whilst the US side was chaired by Wendy Sherman, Deputy Secretary of State.
The session explored the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing cooperation between them; in addition to exchanging views on regional and international matters of mutual interest.
The session was attended by Moosa Hamdan al Taee, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the US and some officials from both sides. –ONA
