Muscat: Winning the majority of votes, Salim bin Said Al Wahaibi, secured the post of Chairman of Oman Football Association for the 2021-2025 term, during the elections held on Saturday. The post of vice chairman went to Mohsin bin Hamad Al Masroori. The mandatory seat for woman went for Lujaina Mohsin Haider Darwish.
The membership posts saw competition among 18 candidates of whom the membership went for Ibrahim bin Mubarak Al Hosni, Qutaiba bin Said Al Ghailani, Ali bin Mohammed Al Ajmi, Ibrahim bin Said Al Alawi, Ahmed bin Abdulqadir Al Hadad and Nasser bin Salim Al Hadabi.
