Number of COVID cases in ICUs in Oman declines to 60

As many as 348 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past three days, in addition to eight new COVID-19-related deaths.

Muscat: The number of COVID-19 patients in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) has dropped to 60, statistics from the Ministry of Health said.

As many as 348 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past three days, in addition to eight new COVID-19-related deaths.

This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 302,132 in the Sultanate. The total number of COVID-19-related deaths reached 4057, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 493 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 291,532 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 13 cases were hospitalised over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalised COVID-19-infected patients stands at 138, of them 60 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
