Muscat- Engineer Salem bin Nasser bin Saeed al Aufi, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR) has issued a decision 2022/25, amending some provisions of the regulations for drinking water services.
The decision is based on the law issued by Royal Decree 78/2004, and Royal Decree 131/2020 regarding the water and sanitation sector, and the regulation of potable water issued by resolution 6/2019, and with the approval of the Council of Ministers, including the Ministry of Finance.
As per the decision, an amount of RO7.5 each will be charged to cut the water connection and restore the same service
