Muscat: Three projects have won leading positions at the level of the Sultanate of Oman in the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) 2022 qualifiers out of total 9 projects.
The “Nashid” project won the Idea segment, while the “I lab marine” project won the Early segment. Meanwhile, “Rahal” won the Growth category.
The nine qualified projects will undergo a virtual training one-month camp to empower them with skills and to enhance their communication with investors worldwide. The virtual training camp also gives the participants a chance to exchange expertise with participants from other countries.
The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) manages organizing the competition on Oman’s level. The qualified projects will represent the Sultanate of Oman in the final international qualifiers of the Entrepreneurship World Cup in December 2022.
The international competition attracts more than 200 entrepreneurs from all over the world as they compete on the bases of their projects’ innovation, sustainability and creativity. The projects are categorized into three segments (Idea, Early and Growth). The EWC prizes reach a total sum of USD 1 million.
Moreover, as soon as participants register at the competition, they receive access to educational and training resources and courses in the field of entrepreneurship.
