Muscat: Khor Al Milh in the Wilayat of Qurayat in the Governorate of Muscat is one of the most significant and famous sites in the Sultanate of Oman for the extraction of “natural salt” by traditional methods.
It is located on an area of 2,000 metres and the extraction of salt is active with high temperatures and continues until the month of November.
