Muscat: In a circular sent to airlines operating to the Sultanate, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said it is mandatory to have Covid-19 insurance to enter Oman through all ports.
“Arriving passengers shall have international health insurance covering the cost of treatment for Covid-19 for a period of at least one month is mandatory, except for Omani citizens,” said the CAA circular.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, expatriates and visitors started arriving in the Sultanate after the Supreme Committee decided to lift the ban on flights from several countries from September 1.
