4th, 5th Planes of Saudi Relief Air Bridge Arrive in Pakistan to Help Flood Victims

Karachi: The fourth and fifth Saudi relief planes, laden with 60 tons of aid, including tents, blankets, shelter kits, food baskets and dates, benefiting 8,424 people, arrived in Karachi, Pakistan, on Friday.

The planes come as part of the Saudi relief air bridge dispatched by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to support those affected by floods and rains in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The air bridge also comes in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and with the follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

The aid was received by the National Disaster Management Authority and will be distributed to the affected people in a number of regions in Pakistan.

This aid comes as a part of humanitarian programs and efforts being provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to support a number of countries.
