Muscat: Acting in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Labour on Sunday started a five-day programme on fundamental principles guiding state policy.
The programme, the 7th in a series, was opened at the Diplomatic Institute by Dr. Mahad Said Ba’Owain, Minister of Labour. It is attended by 50 directors general and state officials of equivalent ranking.
Sayyid Salim bin Musallam Al Busaidi, Human Resources Development Undersecretary at the Labour Ministry, said that this 7th edition of the programme features many visions for improving performance and developing tools of institutional action.
The programme reflects the major efforts exerted by the Ministry of Labour, the Foreign Ministry and other institutions to forge a true partnership based on multi-faceted concepts serving the public interest, said Sayyid Salim, adding that the programme marks a turning point in national action.
