Muscat: The Environment Authority has suspended two companies in the North Al Batinah Governorate from their work for a period of six months due to some environmental violations.
The Authority said in a statement: “Environment Authority has suspended two companies in the North Al Batinah Governorate from operating for a period of six months.The first is working in the field of marble manufacturing and the second is in the field of iron and steel. This was due to some environmental violations and their failure to comply with the requirements in force in accordance with environmental regulations and legislation.”
