MUSCAT: Seeb thumped Bahrain’s Al Riffa 4-0 in a one-sided final of the AFC Cup West Zone at the Seeb Stadium in Muscat on Tuesday night.
Veteran striker Abdulaziz al Maqbali hit the opening goal in the 47th minute while Ahmed al Siyabi made it 2-0 in the 62nd minute.
Salah al Yahyai put the home team in a 3-0 cushion in the 79th minute and Cosmos Dauda completed the scoreline with a sliding header in the closing minutes as Seeb completed a famous win in front of the home fans.
