Muscat: Shaikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs received here on Wednesday Brigadier Mohammed Ahadi, Head of the Iranian side in the Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Joint Committee.
The two sides discussed several matters of mutual interest within the framework of the Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Joint Committee mission.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdullah al Manthari, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) for Operations and Planning, Head of the Omani side in the committee. It was also attended by Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Sultanate of Oman, the Military Attaché at Oman’s embassy in Tehran, the Military Attaché at Iran’s embassy in Muscat, several members of the committee and some officials from the Foreign Ministry.
