Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a gang of seven expatriates for defrauding people by forging forms in Wilayat of Seeb.
ROP said in a statement: “The General Department of Criminal Investigation and Investigation, in cooperation with the Muscat Governorate Police Command, managed to arrest a gang of seven people in the Wilayat of Seeb on charges of fraud through social media. The accused forged forms with the aim of seizing people’s bank information.”
Royal Oman Police urges the public not to respond to suspicious communications and messages, and report any such instances immediately.
