Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology is pressing ahead with the expansion of Rusayl-Bidbid dual-carriageway, a 27-km road aimed to ease traffic in a high traffic zone falling between the Governorate of Muscat and other governorates of the Sultanate.
Twenty percent of the first phase of the dual carriageway has been completed. The road begins at Rusayl-Nizwa junction along Muscat Expressway and ends at the A’Sharqiyah Expressway’s junction in the Wilayat of Bidbid.
