Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued his special Royal Pardon to prisoners convicted in various cases.
An official source in the Royal Oman Police (ROP) stated that 325 prisoners, including 141 expatriates will benefit from the decision.
The pardon comes from His Majesty the Sultan coinciding with the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday 1444 AH, and taking into account the families of these prisoners.
