ROP busts international drug rings

MUSCAT: The Directorate-General of Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, busted international drug rings that used a new drug smuggling method by liquidising crystal meth and concealing it in the fuel tanks of cars loaded on car carrier trailers. Royal Oman Police (ROP) called on the owners of car carrier trailers to check their shipments and to verify the identity of the people whom they deal with. ROP intensified its efforts in monitoring drug smugglers and exposing their novel modus operandi.
