Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology held a joint meeting with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The meeting explored means of enhancing cooperation and accelerating implementation of joint projects and initiatives in the field of Information and communications technology (ICT).
The Omani side was headed by Eng Said Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, while the Saudi side was headed by Eng Abdullah Amer al Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
A display was made on the ICT sector in Oman and the national initiative for digital economy.
