Muscat: The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) signed an agreement for the management and classification of documents.
The agreement also covers the schedules and duration of the document currency. The aim is to develop a comprehensive system of document production and archiving.
The agreement was signed by Haleema Rashid Al Zar’ee, Chairperson of ASMED, and Dr Hamad Mohammed Al Dhoyani, Chairman of the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA).
The system seeks to ensure the speedy identification of documents and records to realise the sustainability of administrative action when the staff go on leave or gets transferred or seconded to other units.
