Hungary explores investment opportunities in Sultanate

Salalah: A business delegation from the Republic of Hungary, headed by Dr Tibor Szatmari, Ambassador of Hungary to the Sultanate, on Thursday visited Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), Branch in the Governorate of Dhofar.

The delegation’s visit comes to explore potential investment opportunities between Oman and Hungary and to promote trade cooperation. The visit also aims to address potential areas of investement for businessmen from both countries.

Hussain Hatheeth Al Bat’hari, Head of the OCCI Branch in Dhofar, reviewed in his statement the stimulating factors for investment in the Sultanate and major business and investment opportunities between the two countries.

Al Bat’hari also touched on means of enhancing and stimulating trade and investment spheres between the two countries.

On his turn, the business and economic advisor of Hungary’s Embassy in the Sultanate gave a presentation on investment and business opportunities in Hungary. He also elaborated on the industrial and developmental projects in his country and its strategic position at the centre of Europe. — ONA
