Algiers: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan arrived here on Monday to chair the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation in the 31st Arab Summit, due to be held in the Algerian capital, Algiers on 1 & 2 November.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were received at Houari Boumediene Airport by Ayman Abdel Rahman, Prime Minister of Algeria.
They were also received by Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League, Saif Nasir Al Badai, Ambassador of Oman to Algeria and a number of Algerian officials.
During the participation, HH Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, Abdullah Nassir Al Rahbi, Ambassador of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Saif Nasir Al Badai, Ambassador of Oman to Algeria and the two advisors at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad.
