Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information warns citizens and residents of the Sultanate of Oman not to respond or provide any information or data related to individuals and Oman’s relations with other countries of the world, which are contained through international numbers.
The centre said in a statement: “National Centre for Statistics and Information draws the attention of citizens and residents in the Sultanate of Oman to the necessity of not responding or providing any information or data related to Oman and the relations of Oman with other countries of the world contained through international numbers, as these numbers do not represent any government agency in the Sultanate of Oman and were not obtaining a license or prior approval from the Center to conduct a public opinion poll in the Sultanate of Oman in accordance with the Statistics and Information Law issued by Royal Decree No. (55/2019)”
