COVID-19: Sharp drop in number of positive cases in Oman

Muscat: Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saeedi, Minister of Health, held a meeting with ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions and international agencies at the Diplomatic Club and spoke about the sharp decline of positive cases in Oman.

“The Sultanate kept the pandemic under control, with positive cases declining sharply to 1 per cent from an earlier average of 25 per cent,” said Dr. Ahmed in a statement.

  Dr. Ahmed pointed out that steady improvement in the Sultanate’s epidemiological situation is evidenced by statistics and data released by the Health Ministry.
