Muscat: Rear Admiral Emmanuel Slaars, Commander of the French Forces in the Indian Ocean and his accompanying delegation visited on Wednesday the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
Upon the guests’ arrival, they were greeted by Commodore Jasim Mohammed Al Balushi, Director of Operations and Plans at the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) Command, and the Acting Head of the MSC.
Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the roles and tasks carried out by the centre in maintaining the safety of the maritime environment.
They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies that are used in carrying out its national duties.
