Muscat: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth held a reception ceremony for Oman’s Paralympic delegation, which participated in Tokyo.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth said: “His Excellency Basil bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Undersecretary for Sports and Youth, received Paralympic player Mohammed Al Mashaykhi and Oman’s delegation participating in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, and held a reception ceremony in honour of Al-Mashaikhi for winning a bronze medal.”
The Paralympic delegation returned with a historic medal achieved by Oman’s Paralympic champion Muhammad bin Jamil Al Mashaikhi in shot put, who achieved a new record for the Sultanate (10.84) metres.
