Muscat: Alexander Schallenberg, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria, confirmed in an exclusive statement to the Oman News Agency (ONA) that his country welcomes and highly appreciates the role played by the Sultanate in mediating many conflicts in the region, indicating that “this matter has become a long-standing Omani tradition.”
The Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria stressed that the opening of the Austrian embassy headquarters will contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and linking the peoples of the two friendly countries to each other.
Noting that the two sides have a common interest in promoting trade, investment and tourism, in addition to cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and green hydrogen. –ONA
