The missing woman, Hameeda bint Hamood al Amriyah, was found dead by a citizen, Royal Oman Police said, on Monday.
The procedures are underway to hand over the body to her family.
The 57-year-old woman is a senior citizen from the Wilayat of Izki went missing on October 3.
