Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by the Security Relations and Media Department, has issued a notice to truck drivers.
The circular stated that the passage of trucks during the period is prohibited between 12 pm and 4 am today to avoid traffic jams as people might leave for their homes outside cities during the long weekend.
The roads where the truck movement will be restricted are:
Main roads in Muscat Governorate.
Al Dakhiliyah Road (from Muscat to Bidbid Bridge).
Al Batinah Highway (from Muscat to Shinas).
The Royal Oman Police called on truck drivers to follow the notice to serve the public interest.
