Sayyid Badr presides over Ministerial Council meet

Riyadh: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, presided over the 154th session of the Ministerial Council in preparation to the 43rd GCC Summit.

The session was held at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat General in Riyadh on Wednesday in the presence of the GCC foreign ministers and the GCC Secretary-General.

In his speech, Sayyid Badr affirmed that the Gulf Cooperation Council is pressing ahead at a steady pace as outlined by the wise visions and directives of the GCC leaders, in a manner that realises the aspirations of the GCC peoples in all fields of cooperation.

The preparatory ministerial session for the 43rd GCC Summit is full of many files of joint Gulf cooperation, which will be submitted at the meeting of the GCC Supreme Council in its 43rd session.

The prime aim is to enhance the blessed march of the GCC Council in a manner that achieves further progress and development for its countries and consolidates the foundations of security and stability in the region.
