Bank Muscat Organises Annual Leadership Forum and Reaffirms Commitment to Enhance Digital Transformation and Customer Experience
In commitment to enhance communication and cooperation with employees, Bank Muscat, the leading financial service provider in the Sultanate of Oman, organized the Leadership Forum 2024 which was attended by members of the Executive Management, including officials and branch managers from both Bank Muscat as well as Meethaq Islamic Banking.
The annual meet serves as a common platform where the management and the employees discuss the most prominent trends in the sector and also exchange ideas and expertise. It also looks into the implementation of future plans and the best way to fulfill them in order to maintain the Bank’s leadership position.
The Forum hosted the honouring ceremony of the branches, Head Office and regional teams who won the CEO’s Excellence Awards 2023, which aims to celebrate the best performing teams in various business and operational activities.
On the occasion, the Executive Management of Bank Muscat extended appreciation to all employees, emphasizing that their contributions have strengthened the Bank’s leadership position and facilitated positive financial results in 2023. The Management also thanked the employees for their efforts in providing better services to customers, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the customer experience and implementing projects and programmes that advance the Bank’s digital transformation across various services.
During the annual Forum 2024, the Bank celebrated winning the Best Workplace Award from the “Best Places to Work” Institution, which evaluates workplaces based on several key factors, including employee contribution, leadership effectiveness and corporate culture. This prestigious award reflects the great role played by Bank Muscat to improve the employee experience and provide a model work environment. It also comes as a testament of the successful plans and strategies implemented by Bank Muscat in the field of human resources development.
Towards the closure of the event, the attendees expressed appreciation to Bank Muscat’s customers for their continued confidence in the banking facilities, services and products. Moreover, the Bank’s customers are the main driving force of the Bank’s business and are partners in the success that the Bank continues to achieve in various aspects.
The Forum is one of the annual initiatives the Bank organises for its employees and management members to discuss issues and future plans. Over the years, the Bank has expanded its branch network to reach more than 180 branches, spread throughout the Sultanate. It has also strengthened these branches with a wide network of multi-use self-service devices, which have reached to more than 870 devices.
