Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, continues to enhance customer awareness of the Bank’s digital platforms through a series of outreach seminars across various governorates. Recently, the Bank hosted two seminars for customers in the Willayat of Musanaa in Batinah South Governorate and in Sohar, Batinah North Governorate, to introduce the wide range of solutions available through its Internet Banking and Mobile Banking platforms. These sessions featured presentations by technical expert and entrepreneur Salim bin Mohammed Al Badi, who shared insights into recent advancements in the Bank’s banking applications and digital platforms, engaging the audience with practical demonstrations.
These seminars reflect Bank Muscat’s commitment to developing a robust digital infrastructure that meets evolving local, regional, and global standards. By fostering direct communication with customers across Oman, the Bank aims to stay aligned with their needs and expectations, strengthening relationships and empowering users to make the most of the Bank’s digital services
Taya Eid Bait Sabeea, Deputy General Manager, Regional Branches at Bank Muscat, emphasized the Bank’s dedication to serving both individual customers and small and micro enterprises: “Bank Muscat is committed to being the first choice for banking by continually evolving our services to meet diverse customer needs. Our focus is on delivering efficient, swift transactions and ensuring the highest quality banking experience through our digital offerings. We would like to thank our customers for their continued trust in the Bank’s offerings.”
During these seminars, attendees explored a variety of mobile and online banking services, including instant local and international money transfers, subscription to public offerings, charitable donations, bill payments, investments, account opening for children, card applications, and other essential banking functions that allow customers to conveniently complete without visiting a branch.
For SMEs and business owners, the seminars demonstrated how they can manage their company accounts and cards, conduct payroll transactions, view loan repayment details, make local and international transfers, request VAT statements, order checkbooks, pay bills and suppliers, handle taxes, and open fixed deposit accounts
The seminar is part of a broader series of events the Bank plans to conduct, focusing on introducing customers to its growing suite of digital banking services. These services have expanded in response to the increasing demand for digital solutions and include features like account management, requests, transfers, card management, car insurance renewal, checkbook requests, utility bill payments, and much more.
To further strengthen its digital services, Bank Muscat has launched several new payment options for users of smart devices. These additions enhance the digital payment landscape, providing customers with convenient and secure alternatives to carrying physical cards while shopping. The Bank’s payment solutions also cover point-of-sale transactions, online payments, and the acceptance of various debit, credit and prepaid cards, both locally and internationally. Additionally, the Bank offers instant payment settlements, round-the-clock support services and help desk to ensure a seamless customer experience.
