This event brought together over 20 institutions from various sectors, highlighting the collaborative spirit within the Sultanate’s business community. The inauguration ceremony was held under the auspices of by H.E. Mahmoud bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Owaini, Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, and presence of Said Salim Al Aufi, General Manager of Human Resources & Administration at Bank Muscat, along with esteemed officials from the College and representatives from participating organizations
At its dedicated stall, Bank Muscat’s team showcased a range of career and training opportunities available at the Bank. They provided insights into the Bank’s human resources development initiatives, emphasizing the diverse specialties offered to students and recent graduates. Attendees received detailed information on job openings, training programmes, and the application processes. Bank Muscat remains committed to participating in career and training fairs organized by higher education institutions.

Since the beginning of this year, Bank Muscat has facilitated over 573 training opportunities for students in banking specialties. This initiative aims to equip students with practical skills relevant to the banking and financial sectors. The Jadara Academy at Bank Muscat then allocates the selected students to various departments and branches throughout the Sultanate, with performance reports generated daily throughout the training period. Last year, the Bank provided 580 training opportunities for students from numerous educational institutions across the Sultanate.
Bank Muscat is also dedicated to creating a conducive environment for its employees, enabling them to perform their duties effectively while fostering motivation through diverse programs. The Bank proudly reports an Omanisation rate of approximately 94% among its workforce of over 4,000 employees across various departments and branches. All employees are granted equal opportunities to participate in training courses and workshops. Furthermore, from the beginning of 2024 until the end of November, the Bank has offered 397 job opportunities. This underscores the Bank’s leadership in supporting government initiatives aimed at increasing job availability
